Alternative Ways To Access Blocked Sites - 4

Is you school, college or office blocking you from getting on social network sites like Facebook, Myspace, Hi5, Orkut, etc?And are you frustrated because you are not able to visit those websites in your school or college ? Well, no problem the remedy continues here.! This is continuation of my previous post Aternative ways to access blocked websites - 3.

There are tons of sites out there that distributes free proxies of almost any country. Here’s an example. Check out the following methods on how/where to insert proxies in your web browsers.

Proxy Surfing:
In Firefox:
Under Advanced tab, select Network tab, then click inside Connection Settings. Select Manual proxy configuration, put proxy under HTTP proxy.

In Internet Explorer:
Go to Tools -> Internet Options. Select Connections tab. Click into LAN Settings, check Proxy Server. Insert your proxy URL inside Address.

Use Google Mobile:
Google mobile works, but output may not be optimal. This is very similar to using a Web proxy. Try http://www.google.com/xhtml or http://www.google.com/m. And You can also try http://www.google.com/gwt/n?u=www.facebook.com or http://www.google.com/url?q=http://www.facebook.com
