Google Search Parameters

Google search parameters are used to specify our search more clearly. We are able to get results more exactly. Frequently used parameters are the following.

1. as_filetype
2. num

as_filetype:
This parameter is used to select the filetype.
(Such as ppt, pdf, html, zip).

num:
This parameter is used to select number of result in single page.
(Maximum it can display 100 results in a single page).

Procedure:
Step 1 : Goto www.google.com
Step 2 : Search anything.
Step 3 : At the end of url (in the result page), just add the parameters
             (As in the following example).

Example:
Add the parameters (Or copy the following and paste) at the end of the URL.
(without quotes)

1. Add "&as_filetype=ppt" to search only powerpoint files.
2. Add "&as_filetype=pdf" to search only pdf files.
3. Add "&num=20" to get 20 results in single page.
4. Add "&num=100" to get 100 results in single page.
