Its not the safe to do when you are online.
What happens when you press Ctrl+C while you are Online? Your copied data is stored in clipboard and is accessible from the net by a "Single line Javascript Code...!" Wanna test this..?
Just try this:
1) Copy any text by Ctrl + C
2) Goto: http://www.sourcecodesworld.com/special/clipboard.asp
3) You will see the text you copied was accessed by the above above website.
So please don't keep sensitive datas (like Passwords, Credit Card Numbers, PIN etc...) in the clipboard while surfing the web.
How to stop this?
You can stop others from hacking your clipboard by doing this:
1. Go to internet options of Internet Explorer.
2. Select Tools menu ->Internet option -> Security Custom level
3. Select Settings.
4. Disable the option - Allow past operations via script.
